As a member of the Clean Plate Club and the Great Auckland Post-Humeric Compost Society, my motto is, if it doesn't stink, it won't hurt you. And if it does, compost it.


My lunch group spent a good part of a lunch hour discussing which end is best for opening a banana, stem end or other end. Middle is also an option, esp if it's not too ripe (that was discovered in post-lunch research). You kind of snap it apart, for that, starting with (I forget which) a frown face or smiley face.
