I had no correct guesses about the first batch of found images. One correspondent surmised that I could be engaging in misdirection with the name Ernesto, and wondered if the shots might be from a Bollywood film.
You can assume I am providing misleading clues. And this next batch of images may mislead you further. However, they are presented unaltered (except for cropping) from the same source as the first group. Again, I buy the beer for the first to identify the true origin or context for these images.
A source not associated with the Boulder district attorney's office today made public the following photos he said were found on a computer confiscated from John Mark Karr, the now discredited confessor to the killing of Jonbenet Ramsey. Because of their graphic nature, the photos were cropped, but that did not lessen the controversy over their release, denounced by both church and human rights groups. The faces were not obscured, the source said, to aid in identifying the victims, but that did not impress officers in charge of the Karr child pornography case.
"If he was he was counting on praise, Lord, that man is barking up the wrong tree," said an investigator who asked not to be named. "We have enough problems with this case as it is."
