This brother and sister pair of entrepreneurs set up shop on the Midtown Greenway near 5th Avenue.
It's astute positioning, close to the midpoint on the crosstown corridor, and near a controlled intersection where cyclists at least have to slow down.
They have nice presentation and wider selection than the Best Limeade kids I patronized awhile back, but the product is more commercially bland, without ice in the cup, and no fruit pulp or zing in the recipe.
I suppose their little stand is against the law. (They've only been operating since Sunday, so there's not been much time for someone to call the cops.) But the fact that two kids can set up their little Limonade stand and collect money without fear at 5th and 29th in South Minneapolis is one mark of the positive effect a bike way and related development is having on a "bad" neighborhood.
