I'm honored to have Across the Great Divide be in the second batch of blog crate labels created by the inimitable Tild. I'm still figuring out how I want to feature her label here in an ongoing way. Meanwhile...
Since I come from Colorado peach country, I appreciate the subtle detail of the label's proportions, which reflect the more elongated lug peaches were traditionally shipped in from the Grand Valley.
Also, I dig the western movie-style lettering, complete with a gold outline to complement my current color scheme. And of course, the biker, climbing a hill I could only scale in my dreams.
She tells me the original came from Idaho — Hell's Canyon Apples. Close enough.
